September is full of rides and bike events in the DC area - many of which the BWB leaders are participating in - so we are not scheduling a September monthly ride. Instead, hit the trails, link up with other members, and check out these local rides and events:

-- Try a new trail! Some of our favorite local trails include the Mount Vernon Trail, Anacostia Trail System, Indian Head Rail Trail, Paint Branch, Northeast and Northwest Branch Trails, and Hains Point.

-- 9/18: Fix-a-Flat Workshop presented by WABA's Women & Bicycles program with Phoenix Bicycles. https://www.facebook.com/groups/WomenandBicycles/.

-- 9/21: 50 States and 13 Colonies Ride organized by WABA (both are sold out, but a number of BWB members are signed up). http://www.waba.org/events/50states.php
